Upper Valley Aquatic Center Swim Team Makes a Splash at NHSA Championship Swim Meet

March 17-18, 2023– White River Junction, Vermont – The Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC) Swim Team had an outstanding performance at the New Hampshire Swim Association (NHSA) Championship Swim Meet held on March 17-18, 2023. The meet attracted around 550 swimmers from across New Hampshire, with UVAC contributing approximately 100 swimmers.

UVAC made an impressive mark at the championship, with 98 out of 100 swimmers achieving a Top 16 finish in at least one event. This is a remarkable achievement, showcasing the depth and talent of the team. The team finished with a total of 2969 points, securing the 2nd position in the overall standings.

The athletes’ commitment to excellence was evident as 61% of all swims resulted in personal best times. The results are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the athletes and coaches, with each athlete showcasing their talent, skill, and sportsmanship.

As the short course season comes to a close, UVAC’s performance at the championship serves as a boost of momentum for the upcoming long course season. The UVAC Swim Team will continue to work hard and aim for further success as they prepare for future competitions.
