Mary’s yoga journey began in 1994, after an exacerbation of her Multiple Sclerosis. She found it great for both her physical and emotional health and began taking yoga classes as part of her usual workout program.
In 2006, she started teaching yoga as a substitute, and completed her certification in yoga teacher training through YogaFit© in 2007. She has been leading yoga classes since then with a two year interlude while her husband and she traveled the USA and Canada in their Subaru with their 90 pound dog, Radley, in the backseat. They recently settled in the Upper Valley to be closer to their one-year-old granddaughter! She is excited to be back to leading yoga classes.
Mary enjoys teaching beginning students as well as students with more yoga experience and adjusts her classes to the participants attending. She likes to incorporate movement with yoga poses and to include relaxation (Shavasana) in all of her classes! Mary continues to learn as much as she can about yoga and has discovered that the more she learns, the more there is to learn!
