Spend the day at Northern New England’s Premier Aquatic and Fitness Center

Conveniently located at the junctions of Interstates 89 and 91 in White River Junction, Vermont on the New Hampshire border. Our current 47,500-square-foot facility features:

  • Indoor splash park with lazy river, water features and 110-foot speed slide

  • 11-lane state-of-the-art competition pool with elevated bleachers and seating capacity for 400 spectators
  • Warm water pool (86-89 degree water)

Saturday 6:30am-4:00pm
Sunday 7:30am-3:00pm

Please Note

  • Water features are not on during swim lessons or water aerobic classes. Saturday mornings from 8-10am swim lessons take the entire Warm Water Pool.
  • Water features will be shut off for 10 minutes on the top of the hour during high capacity times, to provide a sound reprieve for patrons and guards
  • POOLS close 15 minutes early
  • If you are bringing minor children with you, unrelated or related, list all minors that will be accompanying you on this form and bring it with you. This form is also available at the Welcome Desk.
  • During busy times, there may be a wait list for the Splash Park and Warm Water Pool. You can always call before coming in and we can advise you on the current situation. 802-296-2850 ex 0.
  • Check the schedule to see who will be in the pool when you come.
  • Our 110 foot slide has a height safety requirement. Your child must be 48 inches or taller to enjoy the thrill of the ride.
  • Day Pass guests must buy day passes upon arrival for the Splash Park.
  • Day Pass guests must make a reservation for lap swimming and group exercise classes for land and water by calling 802-296-2850 ex 0

Rules of the Splash Park

We know that no one loves your children more than you! The best way to keep kids safe in the pools is to supervise them. All people on the pool deck must purchase a day pass whether they are swimming or not. View complete pool rules here

Children 7 and under must be accompanied in the water within arms reach.

Children 13 years and under must be supervised at all times by a PAYING PARENT or GUARDIAN who is 18 years or older.

The only exception is if the child is participating in an ORGANIZED UVAC PROGRAM where we provide the extra supervision. Children seven years and under, must be accompanied by adult in the water with the child within arms reach.

For the safety of our members and guests all adults need a valid ID when checking in.

Age requirements for Fitness Center and Group Exercise Classes

  • 16+ years the Fitness Center and group exercise classes are open
  • 14 and 15 years olds will be granted admission to the Fitness Center and group exercise classes ONLY after completion of the Youth Fitness Orientation with UVAC personal trainer
  • 12 and 13 year olds will be granted admission to the Fitness Center (not group exercise classes) with their parent or guardian ONLY after both the adult & child complete the Youth Fitness Orientation with UVAC personal trainer or Fitness Monitor. They must be accompanied by a parent for every visit in the fitness area. They are not allowed to attend group exercise classes.

Competition Pool Swim Test for Children 13 and Younger

Patrons 13 years and under must pass a swim test provided by a UVAC lifeguard in order to swim alone in the competition pool. The swim test is as follows:

  • Swim one length of the pool
  • Tread Water for 1 Minute
  • Swim an additional length of the pool, back to where the patron began.

Demonstrate one or more of the following strokes during the swim test

  • Front Crawl
  • Back Crawl
  • Elementary Backstroke
  • Breaststroke
  • Sidestroke

The patron passes the swim test

  • The patron may use the competition pool while a parent or guardian is on the competition pool deck
  • The swim test will be documented as a “pass” and signed by the lifeguard who administered it.

The patron does not pass the swim test

  • The swim test must be documented as a “fail” and signed by the lifeguard who administered it.
