More about Tyler

With a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (with a coaching emphasis) and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Kansas, Tyler is no stranger to many forms of exercise.  Although raised and educated in Kansas, he has been in either Vermont or New Hampshire since December of 1998.  Over the years, Tyler has competed in running, open water swim, cycling, and short track speed skating events. He has also coached long jump, triple jump, high jump and pole vault for track and field. Tyler has coached fellow cyclists and triathletes, downhill skiers and gymnasts.

Tyler is very excited to bring his diverse athletic background in the fitness program at UVAC as a group cycling instructor. He spends his free time competing in short course triathlons, running, cycling, stand up paddle boarding, open water swimming and short track speed skating, as well as spending time with his wife and daughter.
