More About Morganne

Favorite Exercise/equipment: I enjoy strengthening my upper body with rowing exercises like barbell rows, lat pull downs, and seated rows. The barbell is probably my favorite piece of equipment and any other free weights like Dumbbells and Kettlebells. 

My Story: Ever since I was young I had dealt with being overweight due to my lack of activity and poor nutrition. Years of being told I was obese took a toll on my self esteem.When I finally decided I wanted to feel my age and be able to do all the activities my friends could do, I started with sports, I played Softball and Field hockey, this gave me the confidence I needed to get into the gym and kept me disciplined. After I ended sports I continued to train like an Athlete in the gym and made it a lifestyle. 

Fun fact: I was born and raised here, in the Upper Valley, but lived in Myrtle Beach for the past 7 years! Now I’m back and ready to help others feel confident, powerful, and capable in their everyday lives!

Experience: As part of my senior year in college I interned at a physical therapy office where I assisted with patient exercises and other tasks, I spent two years as a Stretch Practitioner at a company called Stretch Zone, where I worked with anyone from the age of 14 to 94. Most recently I worked as a Personal Trainer at a local gym for about a year and a half, where I worked with former athletes and every day people.  

Fitness Philosophy: Creating a healthy balance of the mind and body in order to achieve longevity and strength. Exercising should be a lifestyle, what you put into it is what you get out of it.
