More about Brian
Coach Brian possesses a wealth of swim parenting, officiating, team administration, and coaching experience accumulated during his 16 years of club swimming involvement. For the past eight years, Brian has been a UVAC assistant coach working primarily with the senior and pre-senior athletes. Though experienced in teaching and coaching all strokes and distances, Brian has a special interest in the breaststroke and individual medley events.
In addition to his coaching duties, Brian is the UVAC swim team administrator, registrar, home meet coordinator, away meet entry manager, volunteer coordinator, webmaster, team safety coordinator and team liaison to the UVAC parent council, USA Swimming, New England Swimming, the New Hampshire Swim Association and the Granite State Swim Association.
Prior to Brian’s involvement in competitive aquatics, he spent more than 20 years as an Emergency Medical Technician, Police Officer, Detective, Crime Scene technician, forensic photographer and fingerprint expert. Brian has also been a docent and nationally certified interpretive guide for the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center.
