Lisa is the proud mother of twins and has served actively in the Lebanon School District as a volunteer: as a science teacher for elementary aged children (5 years) , as a founding member of the Lebanon Middle School PTO (4 years) and as founder of the LMS Voice, an Arts and Literature magazine at Lebanon Middle School (four years). Lisa has also served as a volunteer at the Kilton Library with the art program (2 years), on the Pedestrian and Bike Committee of Lebanon (1 year), as a greeter at the polls in Ward 1 (2 years) and with the Hanover Library as a member of the community advisory group (2 years). She is currently serving on the Lebanon School Board.
Lisa came to UVAC for the first time to rehabilitate after a devastating sledding accident left her with three broken vertebrae and five broken ribs. It was one of the few places she could play with her four-year-old twins during that time. She is passionate about water, regular exercise and loves the view from her office window looking at the Vermont hills. She enjoys all the Upper Valley offers, is an active hiker, loves to cook, read and explore. https://www.lisavallejosorensen.com/
