Cate began lifeguarding in 2015 and shortly after began working for the Finger Lakes Region of the New York State Parks. After starting college at Saint Louis University in 2017, she began lifeguarding and supervising at Edward Jones Family YMCA in St. Louis, Missouri as well. She became certified as a lifeguard instructor in 2021 through the state parks and ran both lifeguarding and first aid classes for the state of New York.
Cate and her partner relocated to the Upper Valley in September of 2022 and she’s excited to be a part of the UVAC community!
