Fingerprinting

The Upper Valley Aquatic Center in cooperation with the Vermont Crime Information Center requires background and fingerprint checks of all employees hired. We pay all checks and failure to pass these checks will result in the offer of employment being rescinded.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • All positions with the UVAC require standing for extended hours, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting and carrying objects that can weigh up to 45 pounds.
  • All employees will be required to take CPR and First Aid classes. Some positions require additional certifications such as lifeguard training, babysitting certification, fitness instruction and personal training.
  • The UVAC will provide training for some but not all positions.
  • On going education for safety and security makes it necessary that all employees be able to read and write fluently in English.
