Here is the schedule of safety trainings in 2024

  • March- no training this month
  • April – Active Shooter
  • May-Code Orange-Acid Spill in Mechanical Room
  • June-Code Black-Bomb Threat
  • July-Code Red-Fire
  • August-Code Blue-Submerged Passive & Multi-Rescuer Response
  • September-Code First Aid-Active Drowning
  • October-Code Blue-Passive at the Surface in WWP with Extrication at the Stairs and Multi-Rescuer Response
  • November-Code First Aid to Code Blue-laceration

Do Not Resuscitate (DNR)

UVAC’s policy on a DNR is that we will respond to keep a member or guest here at UVAC and will initiate life-saving measures until the EMS arrives. The reasons for this position include but are not limited to the inability for a UVAC staff member to validate authenticity of the DNR and that there are differences State-to-State in the USA on the subject of a DNR.
